One Response to “2018 TONY Predictions Gala”

  • I’m a regular viewer of Theater Talk, which I always enjoy. I just viewed the Tony predictions episode and I hope you receive my observations here in the constructive spirit they are intended. There was so much cross-talk among the panelists during the show that I had difficulty discerning half the conversation, which at times was a cacophony of commentary. I’ve watched other episodes when there is a discussion among several of the same critics and do not recall experiencing the same distracting aural effect. I would suggest more acute attention be paid by the producer, director and on-air talent that a collegial discussion among yourselves may not play as well to a viewing audience if it is not more closely managed by whomever is anchoring the group. Clarity-wise, it was a tad off the rails in that regard. Otherwise, I appreciate the interesting insights divulged into how the Tonys may play out, politics and all, so thank you for the overall excellent work. On with the show…
