Our guests are writer Patricia Bosworth and actor/director Estelle Parsons who discuss their early days at the famed Actors Studio in the 1950’s, which Bosworth has chronicled in her new memoir The Men in My Life. Both were “disciples” there of its co-founder and master coach Lee Strasberg, and learned the fundamentals of concentration and relaxation that helped them build both of their successful careers.

This episode, co-hosted by Jesse Green of The New York Times and Susan Haskins, is in itself a master class in acting and is not to be missed by anyone with an interest in it or any other art form.
