Historian Ethan Mordden, author of the recently published All That Jazz: The Life and Times of the Musical “Chicago” and innumerable other works devoted to the theater, including The Rodgers & Hammerstein Book, shares his considerable knowledge about and insights into the classical musicals Chicago and Rogers & Hammerstein’s Carousel.

  • THE most annoying guest – and you have him on so often. Sort of thing.

    I cannot believe you made the gaffe of saying Ginger Rogers’ film based on CHICAGO is KITTY FOYLE when of course it was William Wellman’s tough-as-nails ROXIE HART – the clue is in the name! Sort of thing.

    Still love your show however – just ease Mordden off the booking list. Sort of thing.
