OMG! I can’t breathe, literally and figuratively. The duet “If I Loved You” sung by Joshua Henry and Jesse Mueller on your June 1st show knocked me OUT. Gorgeous.
This 20 minute episode was like a musical theater class with such an insightful analysis of Carosel’s lyrics and composition. The best segment I have ever seen on Theater Talk and I have been watching for some 20+ years. THANK YOU!!
Jesse and Justin are both marvelous in the show but gotta give Justin Peck and Renay Fleming extra credit for their talents in this production.
OMG too! Words fail but emotions roll on. Fantastic singing, playing, analysis. Susan’s expressive reactions say it all. I wish I had been there to experience the taping live and closeup. Thanks, everybody.
Oh my gosh! I saw Jesse in Waitress and her voice was completely different. She’s incredible in this. And to think,Joshua was singing/rapping in Hamilton! I’m beyond excited to see them in July!!
