Prolific writer/actor Charles Busch and actress Julie Halston join us to discuss Busch’s new play “The Tribute Artist,” about a man who begins impersonating his elderly landlady after she dies, in order to keep her Greenwich Village townhouse. Also, actor/playwright John Cariani and Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III discuss their revival of Cariani’s romantic comedy, “Almost, Maine,” which since it was first produced in 2006, has become one of the frequently licensed plays around the world and the number one most produced play in American high schools, passing Shakespeare, “Spoon River Anthology” and even “Our Town.”
